New fighting broke out in the middle of the day, at Champ-de-Mars, near the National Palace which, for about a month, has become the target of gang members.
At the end of the afternoon, the armed clashes intensified. Around 6:30 a.m., gunfire is heard at Champ-de-Mars and rue Capois, in downtown Port-au-Prince.
A situation that puts pedestrians and motorists on alert.
Some people who brave danger to try to return to their homes, returning from their workplaces, throw themselves in all directions to avoid being victims of crossfire.
It is not recommended for anyone to frequent these areas under any circumstances.
