About a month after taking office, the Transitional Presidential Council chose its Prime Minister to lead the Transitional Government. He is none other than Dr. Garry Conille. As a reaction, the Movement of Political Organizations for a Haitian Alternation (MOPANΗ) congratulated the future tenant of the Prime Minister’s office for the new position he will occupy in Haiti.

THE HAITI FACTOR, May 30, 2024._Indeed, the day after the decision of the members of the Presidential Council, the Movement of Political Organizations for a Haitian Alternation (MOPANΗ), in a note, said it took note of the choice of the former Prime Minister of Michel Joseph Martelly.

The leaders of MOPANH take the opportunity to ask it to put in place, as a matter of urgency, an open government composed of technicians, people with a certain knowledge of public administration and experience in the relative sector of activity. to the administration he is called to lead

They also encourage him to form the National Security Council as well as the Provisional Electoral Council, among others.

Note from the Communications Office of the Movement of Political Organizations for a Haitian Alternation (MOPANΗ).

After a little more than two months of the formation of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), the Movement of Political Organizations for a Haitian Alternation (MOPANH), takes note of the choice of Dr. Garry CONILLE as Prime Minister to direct government actions during the transition period. At the same time, we salute and congratulate the future tenant of the Prime Minister who, among more than a hundred candidates, has won the trust of the members of the CPT despite the diversity of actors who should come forward to make this choice possible. very delicate in this period of crisis. The challenges that await you are enormous…

Asphyxiated by the abuses of armed groups, most of whom are women and children, a rapid and urgent intervention from a government of national unity capable of carefully addressing the problems facing our dear Haiti can no longer wait.

In this sense, we want to draw the government’s primary attention to the main victims of the offensive by armed groups which has cost countless innocent lives and put many families on the brink of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. . Mostly people with reduced mobility, women and children, many have left their roofs to take refuge in shelters like animals under the influence of terror. Others have fled the Republic to go to neighboring countries, far from the political instability which only ruins the lives of young people despite their desire to stay in their own country and contribute to its greater progress.

Aware of the requirements of the moment dominated by the violence of armed groups in the capital and certain provincial towns added to the no less degrading socio-economic situation of the Haitian population, we would like to submit these points to you as a proposal:

  1. Establish, as a matter of urgency, a government of openness made up of technicians, people with a certain knowledge of public administration and experience in the sector of activity relating to the administration that it is called to direct.
  2. Establish a framework for coordination and cooperation between institutions in order to ensure concrete results in government actions.

  3. Create a climate favorable to job creation and investment in order to revive the national economy ruined by armed gangs who have clearly paralyzed all economic activities, looted and destroyed the property and infrastructure of individuals, businesses and property public.

  4. Establish a plan for the return of displaced people to their respective homes with social support programs. See MOPANΗ’s “Post-crisis rehabilitation and support plan”.

  5. Establish the national security council.

  6. Establish the Provisional Electoral Council

  7. Carrying out an Audit within the public administration 8. Review the ethics chain of the judicial power
