Haiti – NOTICE: European Union blog/vlog competition

As part of Europe Day (May 8), the Delegation of the European Union to Haiti is launching a blog/vlog creation competition.
This competition is specifically aimed at young Haitians residing in Haiti, aged 18 to 35.
Its objective is to highlight the ability of this generation to be spokespersons for their environment and to express their concerns in a local context. Participants are invited to write content on a variety of topics in order to share their perspectives and points of view on their daily reality.
On broad and flexible themes that will allow participants to create posts on a wide variety of topics, the competition will encourage them to create their blog or vlog to express their perspectives and points of view on the context in which they live.
Candidates who wish to participate will have to submit a pitch (300/500 characters), which presents their blog (text and photos) / vlog and its approach to the theme of the logbook.
At the end of the proposal submission period, 10 candidates will be selected by a selection committee to participate: create their blog and run it.
The 10 candidates selected to create their blog will each win a digital tablet
At the end of the competition (4 posts on each blog/vlog between June 1 and 21) the best BLOG and the best VLOG will be chosen by a jury of communication professionals. Each of the two winners will receive a bonus worth 800 US dollars in electronic equipment credit.
