The Haitian Society of Ophthalmology (SHO) recommends to the Haitian population not to stare at the Sun on April 8, 2024. The SHO made this recommendation following the announcement of the partial solar eclipse announced that day for Haiti, at starting at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
THE HAITI FACTOR, April 7, 2024._ The partial solar eclipse is announced for Haiti for Monday, April 8, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM, according to a press note dated April 5 signed and published by the Haitian Ophthalmology Society.
Through the said note, the SHO, calls for this purpose, the Haitian population to exercise caution.
Thus, she recommends that he not stare at the Sun on Monday, particularly during the duration of the eclipse.
