Barbara Fequi was walking her daughter to school when she was the victim of this brutal attack. The armed individuals initially wanted to kidnap him. She was murdered after trying to resist.
Barbara Fequi was assigned to the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti. She served, according to colleagues, with dedication in the performance of her duties. His duty and courage in fulfilling his responsibilities were praised. The news of his death plunged those close to him into deep pain and shook the entire national police force.
The Haitian National Police Union (Synapoha) strongly condemned this heinous act of violence, demanding that those responsible for this cowardly attack be quickly apprehended and brought to justice. SYNAPOHA reported that this is the 17th police officer killed since the start of 20244.
