Prime Minister Garry Conille visited the National Identification Office (ONI) this Tuesday afternoon, July 9, 2024. Holding elections is one of his government’s priorities.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the purpose of this visit was to obtain information and assess the functioning of the ONI with a view to the prospects for organizing the next general elections.
This move is part of preparations for the election scheduled for the end of 2025 and the establishment of the necessary infrastructure to ensure a transparent and efficient electoral process.
