Hurricane season 2024: Haiti threatened by the passage of around ten hurricanes

This Saturday, June 1, 2024, the hurricane season began. According to forecasts, this year Haiti must expect an intense season. Thus, civil protection announces that it has taken measures, calling for the vigilance of all citizens.

“11 named tropical storms could transform into hurricanes, including at least five major ones,” according to the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC), citing a study by Colorado State University in the United States.
