As part of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Championship (CONCACAF) qualifying for the FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup to be held in Chile in 2025, the Haitian selection is gathering in Santiago de Querétaro for a two-week training camp (from July 3 to 17) https://www.haitilibre.com/article-42592-haiti-elim-mondial-u-20-chili-2025-pre-liste-des-grenadiers-+-calendrier.html
Despite a carefully prepared plan by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) to facilitate the travel of all team members, players playing in the national championship and some staff members will not be able to travel to Mexico.
This situation is the result of a series of obstacles facing Haiti, including the closure of some foreign embassies, the temporary suspension of some flights, and constraints on transiting through the Dominican Republic. These difficulties have prevented the Federation from finding a flight route for all its members.
Haitian-Canadian coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste will soon announce the list of 25 players who will leave for the training camp in Querétaro, among whom 21 will be chosen for the final composition of the national selection.
