For several months, Cameroonian football has plunged into an endless crisis following the appointment of the Belgian coach as coach of the Indomitable Lions. An appointment which was not satisfactory on the side of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

The ministry of sports in Cameroon had appointed Marc Bryce, a 62-year-old Belgian as the new boss of the selection. A nomination which had divided the country since Samuel Eto’o; the president of the federation totally disagreed. Which is normal since the action was taken without any consultation between the State and Fecafoot. Arriving in Cameroon, according to local media Marc Bryce tried everything, but ultimately he ended up losing the position since the final verdict fell against him.

This Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the conciliation and arbitration association of the Cameroonian national Olympic committee (CNOSC), contacted by amateur clubs of Cameroon (ACFAC) and the Cameroon Professional Football League (LFPC), decided to suspend the appointments made by Samuel Eto’o.

Without delay, the president of FECAFOOT reacted and sacked the Belgian coach who was a nuisance for him. Which means, as we speak, Marc Bryce is no longer Cameroon coach.
