Despite a controversial performance in the June 28 head-to-head race, US President Joe Biden managed to narrow Donald Trump’s lead in key swing states for the November elections, according to a survey published by Bloomberg.
The poll, which focused on seven of the most swing states in the United States, found Trump leading Biden by a narrow 47% to 45%, the narrowest margin since October. Individually, Biden outpaced Trump in Michigan (48% to 43%) and Wisconsin (47% to 44%), while Trump maintained a 1% to 3% lead in Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia.
In Pennsylvania, Trump holds a larger lead at 51% to Biden’s 44%, according to the first Bloomberg poll after the presidential debate. Bloomberg and Morning Consult surveyed 4,902 registered voters in those states from July 1 to 5, with a margin of error of 1%.
