In a crucial match for the race to remain in Ligue 2, Amiens managed to win against Bastia with a score of 2 to 1. The supporters present at the stadium and the television viewers witnessed an intense meeting where the stakes were high on both sides.

From the start of the match, Amiens displayed unwavering determination, quickly taking the lead thanks to two goals scored by L. Mafouta in the 35th and 38th minutes. These achievements placed Bastia in a difficult position, forcing them to react quickly to hope to return to the game.

Despite the pressure, Bastia showed its character and combativeness in the second half. They finally managed to reduce the gap thanks to a goal from F. Bianchini in the 70th minute, offering renewed hope to their team and their supporters.

However, Bastia’s hopes were dampened by the expulsion of A. Roncaglia in the 57th minute, reducing their chances of turning things around. Despite their numerical inferiority, the Bastia players continued to fight until the final whistle, but failed to find the net to equalize.

This crucial victory allows Amiens to consolidate their position in the top 5 of the ranking, while Bastia will have to redouble their efforts in the upcoming matches to secure their place in Ligue 2 next season.
