In a season full of twists and turns, Maccabi Haifa finds itself on the razor’s edge, at risk of losing the coveted trophy. Haitian striker Frantzdy Pierrot’s teammates suffered a series of setbacks, jeopardizing their chances of winning the title. Today’s defeat against formidable Maccabi Tel Aviv, favorites to win, was a blow to Maccabi Haifa’s hopes.

With just three games remaining, a Maccabi Tel Aviv victory in any of them would seal their fate as Israeli D1 champions.
