Mauricio Pochettino becomes the new coach of the United States!
The US men’s national team has a new manager. A month after its Copa America fiasco that led to the dismissal of Gregg Berhalter, the star-studded team will be in charge of Mauricio Pochettino.
The 52-year-old Argentinian coach will collaborate with his first selection in history after his vast experiences at the highest levels of European clubs. He will of course be the coach with more experience lived on the European market taking a selection of CONCACAF.
Mauricio Pochettino has played for Barcelona’s Espanyol, Southampton, Chelsea F, PSG and Tottenham club with which he was a Champions League finalist. Now he will become a coach for the first time in his career. The news was confirmed by the New York Times.
