Rumors suggest that mercenaries are in Haiti. Touched by the question, the Presidential Transitional Council seems to want to know the truth. Thus, the General Secretariat of the Presidency had written to the Secretary General of the Prime Minister, Me Camille Edouard Junior, to request a formal meeting with Prime Minister Garry Conille, this Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
“The subject of this urgent meeting will be the possible presence of a private company which intervenes in matters of public security. The CPT would appreciate the communication of all correspondence and protocol of understanding relating thereto,” we can read in the correspondence bearing the signature of Marie E. Régine Joseph Hadadd.
Following correspondence from the secretariat of the Presidency inviting Prime Minister Dr Garry Conille to explain the possible presence of a private company which intervenes on questions of public security, the Prime Minister requested from the CPT a postponement of the meeting to the next week.
“The secretariat informs that the Prime Minister is obliged to request the postponement of the meeting until next week, on a day fixed at the convenience of the Presidential Transitional Council”, we read in response from the secretariat of the Prime Minister at the invitation of the CPT.
A new epistolary war which opens a new crisis between a CPT hungry for power and a Prime Minister who cannot deliver the goods. The real loser is only the Haitian people subjected to the bulletproofing of armed gangs.
