The affair of the “mercenaries” who are believed to be on Haitian soil opens a new phase in the war between the Presidential Transitional Council and Prime Minister Garry Conille. After the latter refused a first invitation, the CPT renewed its request.
Indeed, the Head of Government is invited for Monday, November 4, 2024 to provide details on the possible presence of members of a foreign security company on the national territory.
During this meeting, several other issues would be discussed, including the reshuffling ministerial position that the CPT is calling for with all its desires. Information suggests that PM Garry Conille has already received correspondence from the presidential gang led by Leslie Voltaire.
In the meantime, a question arises: will Garry Conille ignore this new invitation? In any case, such a repeated attitude would risk further damaging relations between the two branches of the Executive which already do not inspire confidence in the population.
