Miami-Dade County authorities are investigating a double shooting.
Miami police were called to the Little Haiti neighborhood near 180 Northwest 52nd Street just before 7 p.m. Monday.
Officers focused primarily on a black car parked on the street.
Police said two young men were found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital in critical condition. One of them has since died, authorities said.
Police cordoned off several blocks around the scene as they investigated.
According to a Local 10 News source, this shooting may be linked to another that took place in Liberty City earlier in the day.
Several bullet holes were found in the front of a black SUV.
One of the victims was identified by family members as 20-year-old Treyshawn Wright.
Local 10 News has learned the shooting is gang-related, but that has not yet been confirmed by police.
No details have been released regarding possible arrests or the search for suspects or persons of interest.
Police said three people were being held as potential witnesses but not as suspects.
