In order to gain more clarity on the risk factors for cancer, the National Cancer Institute (INCA) has launched his device “My cancer prevention test”This is a series of questions about the different risk factors for cancer in order to assess your risks, then receive advice on the behaviors to adopt to protect your health.
What does the cancer prevention test consist of?
“Thanks to this test, everyone can identify, in their daily lives, the behaviors that expose them to avoidable risk factors for cancer and benefit from personalized advice and proposals for targeted actions to be implemented“, explains the INCA in a press release. The aim of this system? To raise awareness of good practices for preventing cancer risks.”This information campaign aims to enable everyone to question their own behavior and lifestyle habits and to transmit the right benchmarks in favor of preserved health“, adds the INCA.
To carry out this quick test, nothing could be simpler: you just need to enter various information on your profile such as your gender, age, height, or even your weight, before answering several questions on your lifestyle and daily habits. These questions are organized around 6 themes corresponding to the main risk factors of cancer:
- tobacco;
- alcohol consumption;
- eating habits;
- physical activity;
- exposure to UV rays;
- personal or family history.
For a more fun side, the test also offers to take a photo of yourself before starting it, to offer you at the end an image of your face aged 30 years.

What are the good habits to adopt to prevent the risk of cancer?
After answering the questions, the cancer prevention test offers you various tips to improve your health and reduce your various risk factors. Indeed, several good daily reflexes are recommended to prevent cancers, but also many other chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, or even diabetes. According to the Health Insurance website, here is good habits not to forget to reduce its cancer risk factors :
