As the next international break approaches, national coach Sébastien Migné revealed the list of players selected to represent the Haitian selection. With a mix of talent playing in European and American championships, Migné hopes his team will be competitive in the challenges ahead.
The goalkeeper line is made up of three experienced goalkeepers: Johnny Placide (captain), Jonah Mednard and Alexandre Pierre.
The defense will be made up of Carlens Arcus, François André Dulysse, Ricardo Adé, Martin Expérience, Stéphane Lambèse, Jean-Kevin Duverne and Duke Lacroix. They are all regulars in the selection and with the exception of Lacroix they all play in Europe
The middle sector brings together a range of varied talents, including Bryan Alceus, Louicius Don Deedson, Carl Fred Sainté, Belmar Joseph, Leverton Pierre, Fabrice Picault, Christopher Attys, Duckens Nazon, Mondy Prunier, Frantzdy Pierrot and Mickaël Cantave.
In attack, the French coach called on Duckens Nazon, Frantzdy Pierrot, Mickaël Cantave and Mondy Prunier.
Unfortunately, several players will not be in the game due to injuries or other commitments. Garven Michée Metusala is out due to injury, as are Garissone Innocent, Derrick Étienne Junior, Ronaldo Damus and Dany Jean. These absences leave a void in the squad, but also offer a chance for other players to get noticed.
Among the selected players, two play in the European Big Five, and in total, eight players come from the European top division. The Haitian selection is therefore ready to take up the challenge during this international break, with the hope of achieving great performances on the international scene.
