The Oklahoma City Thunder of Haitian origin, Luguentz Dort, dominated (117-95) the Dallas of Luka Doncic, for its first match in the semi-final of the Western Conference, Tuesday, at the Paycome center, full to crack.

After the sweep passed to the Pelicans in the first round of the NBA play-offs, the Thunders, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who came close to a triple double (29 pts, 9 ast, 9 rebs) made their mark in crushing the Mavericks to sign a fifth victory in a row in the play-offs.

The Haitian of origin, Lu Dort who spent 26 minutes on the floor, made his valuable contribution by scoring 7 points and recovering 4 rebounds to help the Oklahoma franchise start its series well against the Irving-Doncic duo, limited to 39 points Tuesday evening.

Well defended by Lu Dort, the Serbian, Luka Doncic, top scorer of the regular season, was unable to show his exceptional magic which makes him one of the serious candidates for the MVP title of the season. The basketball player of Haitian origin was able to master him in the Pick and roll and even stole a ball to initiate a “fast break” leading to two points for the Thunders, galvanizing the crowd at the Paycome center.

In the end, the Oklahoma franchise managed a perfect entry into the series and appears as a serious contender for the final in the Western Conference.

The Thunders will try to take off Thursday, in Game 2, still at their temple in downtown Oklahoma.
