Netflix is looking for actors under 18 for a film about Haitian culture and mythology.
Kamala A. Thomas Casting in a note made public, announces the recruitment of actors under 18 years of age for a film on Haitian culture and mythology produced by the American international company Netflix. The news was reported on February 12 on the FOKAL Facebook page.
“Kamala Thomas Casting is looking for actors to play roles in the
UNTITLED NETFLIX ANIMATION FEATURE. Rooted in Haitian culture and mythology, this animated feature tells the story of a young boy’s journey to reconnect with his family. A story of music, mage and the importance of hope”we can read in this note.
The note specifies that interested parties must record a video accompanied by some information including: Name, current location, telephone number and email address / A few sentences about yourself (your hobbies, interests, community, talents, etc. ) And A CV if you have one.
Officials emphasized that acting experience is not required, while emphasizing that all minors must have their parent/guardian’s permission to submit.
