The Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Miragoâne, Me Jean Ernest Muscadin adds the head of yet another alleged bandit to his credit. This is Olguy Simon better known by the nickname “Degidon”. The latter who is said to be a member of the “5 seconds” gang based in Village de Dieu (Port-au-Prince), was killed in Berquin, in the locality called “Morne Préval”.

Indeed, he was killed in the afternoon of Wednesday June 26, 2024, by bullets from the Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Miragoâne, Me Jean Ernest Muscadin and his team.
Me Jean Ernest Muscadin presented Olguy Simon alias “Degidon” as an alleged member of the Village de Dieu gang of which Johnson André known as “Izo” is the leader.
He was stopped in his tracks by Commissioner Jean Ernest Muscadin as he crossed the town of Miragoâne, the capital of the Nippes Department, to reach the Commune of Barradères where he was to settle, according to the head of the criminal prosecution, reports a colleague from the Miragoâne press to the online newspaper LE FACTEUR HAÏTI.
“Degidon” was taken down to “Morne Préval”, an area located in Berquin, first municipal section of Miragoâne, according to the colleague contacted by telephone by the editorial staff of the Journal.
