This Thursday, November 21, 2024, the Presidential Transitional Council summoned the French ambassador accredited to Haiti, Antoine Michon. Objective: to receive explanations from the diplomat on the remarks made by the French Head of State.
For some observers, the members of the CPT are exactly what Emmanuel Macron describes them as. But the latter went too far by judging the work of Garry Conille to be “terrific”.
All things considered, the summons of Ambassador Antoine Michon is just window dressing. According to some, the members of the Presidential Transitional Council do not have the authority if not the character necessary to declare the French diplomat persona non grata. A case to follow…
