Odense BK continues its impressive march at the top of the Danish 1st Division (D2) after its 3-2 victory against AC Horsens, which allows it to consolidate its leading position at the end of the 16th day. The Odense club, where Haitian international Louicius Don Deedson Vixamar plays, now has 43 points after 16 days, with an exceptional record of 14 victories and only one defeat.
The match, played at home, was full of twists and turns. After opening the score, Odense saw AC Horsens equalize before getting back in front thanks to a determined attack. The final goal, scored in the 53rd minute, sealed a victory which allowed the team to strengthen its place at the top of the table. This success confirms the domination of Odense BK, which seems well on its way to achieving promotion to the Superligaen, the Danish top division.
Louicius Don Deedson Vixamar, although not a scorer, was once again a key element of Odense’s offensive system. The native of Tabarre contributes greatly to the collective play of his team, bringing his vision of the game and his technique to support his teammates. His role in this exceptional season has not gone unnoticed and he continues to gain visibility on the Danish scene.
With 43 points, Odense BK is positioned six days before the end of the season to secure one of the qualifying places for the Superligaen. The club is already assured of participating in the accession playoffs, but the objective now remains to finish at the top of the 1. Division and validate its ticket to the Danish elite. At this rate, Odense BK seems well on course for a triumphant return to the Superligaen.
This remarkable season confirms the good form of the club and its players, including Louicius Don Deedson Vixamar, who is continuing his career in Europe on solid and promising foundations. The end of the season promises to be exciting, and Odense BK, undisputed leader, could well achieve their goal of direct promotion to the Superligaen.
