Miralem Pjanic gave his take on the Olympique Lyonnais season. The Bosnian international, who passed through the club, welcomes the latest positive results.
Miralem Pjanic continues to carefully follow the results of Olympique Lyonnais. After revealing himself in his training club Metz, the midfielder took on another dimension in the colors of OL between 2008 and 2011 before leaving for Serie A. In an interview given to the club’s official website, the Bosnien returned to the difficult start to the season for Les Gones, back in the forefront for several weeks: “There have been big changes at the club this year and when that happens you have to adapt. It’s a complicated season but OL are coming back well, there is more consistency and the latest results prove it.”
“It’s an important jersey” underlines Pjanic
After being in the relegation zone for a large part of the first half of the season, OL have a string of victories in Ligue 1 under the leadership of Pierre Sage. Pjanic expects progress in the coming months: “It’s an important jersey and it’s a story. I think this season is an accident and that the club will play at the top of the table next year.” Words that should delight Lyon supporters.
