The Transitional Presidential Council met this Wednesday, May 22 to discuss the crucial establishment of the National Security Council (CNS) with the aim of proactively responding to the security crisis plaguing our country. This meeting brought together national experts, members of the diaspora and other key figures, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement of April 3, 2024.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the CNS will have the mandate to oversee arrangements related to international security assistance, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2699. This task will be accomplished in close collaboration with relevant national and international stakeholders, as well as experts in the field.
