Port-au-Prince experienced a restless night, followed by an equally upsetting morning, with residents awakened by the sound of bullets and detonations. However, ‘illegal bandit’ BBQ, likened to Sweet Micky, the ‘legal bandit’ who rose to power and is still in the corridors of power, is promoting a so-called revolution by murdering lower-class citizens of the country .

Saturday March 23, 2024 ((rezonodwes.com))–Port-au-Prince woke up Saturday morning in anarchic continuity, a faithful reflection of the tension and instability which characterized the past week in a country which has neither been governed nor administered for more than 30 months.

According to various sources of information and testimonies from residents of different districts of the capital, Saturday began with the sound of bullets. Despite the hopes raised by the announcement of a meeting of the Governing Council by the virtual Prime Minister of Haiti, Dr. Ariel Henry, the population is still waiting for a respite which does not seem to be coming.

A hail of bullets accompanied the awakening of Port-au-Prince, while detonations rang out in different districts of the capital, notably in Fort National.

The BOID base at Fort National, which houses the departmental intervention and operations brigade, has become the target of repeated attacks by armed bandits operating in the Bel-Air area.

The Bel-Air district, once popular, has for some time been under constant threat of repeated attacks from Jimmy Chérizier’s gang, which has acted with impunity since the previous Tèt Kale#2 administration of Jovenel Moïse and strategist Claude Joseph .
