THE HAITI FACTOR, May 2, 2024._While the Leaders of the Montana Accord and the Fanmi Lavalas Party cry conspiracy after the appointment of Edgard Leblanc Fils as President of the Transitional Council, the National Platform of the Haitian Popular Sector (PLANSPA) sees the opposite.
In response, the President of PLANSPA, Marie Yanick Mézil, said she takes note of the commitment of the political class and the international community which encourages the protagonists to agree to place new leaders at the head of the country.
The leader of the National Platform of the Haitian Popular Sector (PLANSPA) says she is part of the democratic approach which led to the proclamation of former Senator Edgard Leblanc Fils as President of the presidential structure.
Marie Yanick Mézil took the opportunity to congratulate Edgard Leblanc Fils for this position held as well as the will expressed by each Advisor. As a Haitian, she says she wishes success to the Presidential Advisors, because she says she opposes the macabre plans aimed at flouting respect for the rights of the Haitian people.
Faced with the current situation, the National Platform of the Haitian Popular Sector (PLANSPA) says it invites the 9 Members of the presidential structure to appeal to all sectors of national life to make their contribution to the formation of the next Government.
This inclusive Government must respond to the primary needs of the Haitian population for the restoration of peace, security and the return of children to school.
