Epistolary journey between two souls
Literary Love at First Sight: Birth of a Naked Us
Is it possible to experience literary love at first sight? For authors Marie-Claude Allard and Bytchello Prévil, this seems to be the case. Through a passionate exchange of letters about their shared love of literature, the two authors developed a captivating epistolary relationship. “We started by writing to each other in real life and all the exchanges gradually led to the idea of writing a novel. This process is described in our email exchanges and is an integral part of the novel. The reader will experience it in the same way that the authors experienced it,” they explain.
From this epistolary idyll was born “Un Nous à Nu”, a novel where fiction mixes with the authors’ autobiography. The boundaries between reality and fiction blur, creating a unique and immersive story. At the heart of the novel, the characters of Böbo, a West Indian, and Mia, a North American, emerge from these exchanges. Through their writing, the authors surprise and seduce the reader, addressing philosophical themes such as mourning, the dualities of life, happiness and gratitude, as well as more down-to-earth subjects such as marital relationships, fidelity and forgiveness.
“Un Nous à Naked” is an authentic and moving exploration of human values. The authors form, among other things, a special unit with a special mission: to promote and protect diversity. The novel is intended as a tribute to the love of literature and the beauty of epistolary relationships, offering readers deep food for thought, intense emotions and a celebration of the very essence of humanity.
To be discovered without delay, this first volume promises a rich and inspiring literary adventure, while waiting for the rest of the writings of Allard and Prévil.
