Real Madrid: Jude Bellingham in turmoil, La Liga opens an investigation

The Spanish league pulled out all the stops. La Liga has called on a lip-reading expert to investigate alleged insults by Jude Bellingham towards Mason Greenwood during the match between Real Madrid and Getafe (2-0) on Thursday. “Getafe filed a complaint with the La Liga match director and, as is normal on this kind of occasion, the league asked a lip-reading expert to investigate the matter and act on the basis of what he is able to confirm” said a La Liga spokesperson.

Bellingham allegedly called Greenwood a ‘rapist’

According to images published by the Spanish press, the English star of Real Madrid would have called his compatriot “rapist“(“rapist” in English) during the match. Former Manchester United hopeful, Greenwood was suspended and then asked to leave the club following accusations of rape and assault on his partner. Although the charges were dropped, which allowed Greenwood to relaunch in Spain, the matter has obviously not escaped Bellingham. If his words were proven, the former Dortmund player could then risk a sanction.
