The municipalities of Tabarre and the district of Clercine were besieged on Tuesday night by armed gangs
Communes fall one after the other under the firepower of armed gangs. Residents of the city of Tabarre and the Clercine district experienced an unspeakable nightmare during the night of Tuesday April 2.
For many hours, armed individuals fired bursts of automatic weapons in Tabarre and Clercine.
Frightened residents were forced to flee their homes for fear of being the victim of a stray bullet or to hide in a more or less “secure” place.
Carrefour Fleuriot, Gerald Bataille and Place Cazeau were the scene of clashes leaving a still unknown number of people injured or killed by bullets.
Bodies were nevertheless noted this Wednesday morning by our editorial staff in different arteries which adjoin these two areas.
The residents of Tabarre and Clercine are urgently requesting police assistance to restore order and security in these two areas.
