After a four-month interruption due to the security situation in Haiti, Air Caraïbes announces the resumption of its flights to Toussaint Louverture airport from Monday, July 1.
The airline will operate a weekly flight to Haiti, with a continuation to Santo Domingo, on board an Airbus A330-300.
“Air Caraïbes welcomes the calming of the situation in Haiti and is happy to be able to find and welcome its Haitian customers in optimal conditions of security, safety and serenity” reads a press release from the company.
Note that at the end of May, the American Transportation Security Authority (TSA) had already approved the resumption of flights by American companies to Haiti, some of which have resumed serving Toussaint Louverture airport since Thursday, May 30, 2024.
