There will be two players from Minnesota in the next all-star game but the French pivot was not selected by the coaches.
We knew the starters of the two teams for the All-Star Game on February 18 in Indiana. Here are now the replacements, designated by the league coaches.
In the Eastern Conference, there are three newcomers with Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey and Paolo Banchero. Then regulars now with Donovan Mitchell (5th selection) then Jaylen Brown, Bam Adebayo and Julius Randle (3rd selection each).
For the Western Conference, Stephen Curry (10th participation) is obviously present, with also Anthony Davis (9th), Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Edwards (2nd), Paul George (9th), finally Devin Booker and Karl-Anthony Towns (4th selection each). We have two Wolves players, but no Rudy Gobert.
However, the numbers could still change because Julius Randle and Joel Embiid are currently injured and an absence clearly cannot be ruled out. This could benefit several “forgotten” players in the Eastern Conference like Trae Young, Derrick White, Jimmy Butler or even DeMar DeRozan, Kristaps Porzingis and Jarrett Allen.
