It was during the reign of the authentic criminal Prime Minister Ariel Henry, that the then Port-au-Prince government commissioner Edler Guillaume issued an arrest warrant against political activist Myrthil Marcelin alias Arab, accusing him of crimes against state security because he denounced the de facto regime of Prime Minister Ariel Henry and the armed groups that terrorized the population through the kidnapping enterprise.
His fight was demonstrated by delivering machetes in working-class neighborhoods as weapons of defense so that the masses would organize themselves into vigilance brigades. He was arrested while paying a courtesy visit to the city of Les Cayes to show solidarity with a family that was the victim of police violence, during which a young boy had been fatally shot at home. Armed men from the Departmental Delegate of the South, Ketnor Estinvil of the commune of Les Cayes, had arrested him on the morning of Monday, February 12, 2024, on the orders of the Commissioner of the Government of Les Cayes, Me Ronald Richemond.
This arrest was quickly rejected by the population who mobilized and declared to Commissioner Guillaume: you will see between the skin of the pepper and the core, which one is the hottest. We demand the rapid release of the activist Myrthil alias Arab, the police are only effective when they persecute opponents of the criminal regime of Ariel” And even his lawyer at the time, Maître Arnel Rémy, had denounced: “the arrest of political activist Myrthil Marcelin, alias Arab, who is being held in the civil prison of Les Cayes, is illegal.”
Indeed, the fierce opponent of the PHTK regime version 3 was thrown into the civil prisons of Les Cayes, and the head of the prosecution of this jurisdiction transferred him to Port-au-Prince to the National Penitentiary a few days later.

Like many others that day, Marcelin was released from prison, moreover he was arrested illegally and was never convicted of anything since it was a political arrest, he was simply a political prisoner of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.
It is this activist that the national police, on the orders of the new police chief Rameau Normil, chose to persecute. Thus, on Sunday July 7, 2024 in Delmas 43, the police sequestered him under the pretext that he was on the run. But what was he guilty of? Why this police is engaged in repressing the innocent, and cannot do anything against armed groups?
While the armed groups that facilitated the prisoners’ escape live together peacefully, some prisoners have even been eliminated by the police. What weakness! What proof of cowardice of this police force tamed against the popular masses?
The cause of the second arrest Marcelin Myrthil, alias ” The Arab guy ” is precisely and clearly as illegal as the first one. This arrest proves that the criminal repressive regime still exists even without Ariel Henry.
The interim director general of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Rameau Normil, also wants to show that there is no difference between his predecessor Frantz Elbé and him insofar as they are in the service of the same criminal power.
Otherwise, can we say that Ariel Henry and Garry Conille are leading the same fight against political activists!
