West Indies fast-bowling sensation, Shamar Joseph, has made an astounding leap of 42 spots in the ICC Men’s Test rankings, propelling him to the joint 50th position in the list.

Joseph’s extraordinary performances during the recent two-Test series against Australia earned him the coveted Player of the Series award. He played a pivotal role in West Indies’ historic second Test victory over the world champions, leaving a lasting impression.

In the first Test encounter, Joseph showcased his talent by taking five wickets for 94 runs, even though Australia claimed a 10-wicket win. However, it was in the second Test that he truly shone, delivering a match-winning performance with seven wickets for 68 runs, contributing significantly to West Indies’ memorable eight-run triumph.

At just 24 years old, Joseph’s remarkable rise in the ICC Test rankings reflects his potential and impact on the cricketing world.
