The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) informs the football family of the appointment by FIFA of Ms. Gally Amazan, CPA as a member of the Normalization Committee, with immediate effect.

Ms. Amazan is a seasoned professional with a remarkable career, accumulating 28 years of experience in the fields of accounting, management, finance and internal audit. She brings exceptional expertise and unrivaled strategic vision to the FHF.

Exemplary academic and professional career:

Ms. Amazan holds two master’s degrees, one in Sports Organization Management from Claude Bernard Lyon University – France, and the other in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ottawa, in Canada. These qualifications complement a bachelor’s degree in administration from the State University of Haiti, with a specialization in Accounting Sciences at INAGHEI, as well as four years of training in Economic Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences.

In addition to her current role as Director of Internal Control, Compliance and Audit of the largest petroleum products distribution company in Haiti (DISTRIBUTEURS NATIONAUX SA), a subsidiary of the company Rubis (France), Madame Amazan has also worked as a teacher since 2004 at the University, coordinator of two master’s programs at Quisqueya University, and facilitator of training sessions and tailor-made seminars.

An active member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Haiti (OCPAH) for 25 years, she held key positions within the organization, including presidency of the Board of Directors from 2008 to 2011.

Current President of the Francophone Union of Internal Auditors (UFAI), Madame Amazan was also President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IAI-HAÏTI) for 3 years and served as Vice-President of North America and the Caribbean of the UFAI.

Engagement in sport and governance:

Former national team volleyball player and volleyball coach, Gally Amazan has held various roles in the sporting field. She was Secretary General of the Haitian Volleyball Federation, President of the Volleyball League of the West Region, and played a key role within the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH) as Advisor, Deputy Secretary General , Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer.

During her time at COH, Ms. Amazan’s leadership contributed in particular to:

– the development of the Committee’s financial management procedures

-the adoption of criteria for the equitable distribution of funds from the Olympic Committee to member federations.

-training member federations on accountability and fundraising,

thus contributing to strengthening the transparency and financial efficiency of Haitian sports organizations.

Her contribution to sport extends beyond national borders, as director of national sports administration courses for the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The FHF expresses its confidence in Madame Amazan for her ability to make a significant contribution to the normalization and continued development of football in Haiti. We are convinced that his diverse experience and his unwavering commitment to excellence will strengthen the governance of the FHF and contribute to the development of Haitian football.
