The administration of the Festival International Mizik Kreyòl (FIMK) has confirmed that the 11th edition of this unmissable summer event in Montreal will take place on Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21 at Frederic Back Park.
A celebration of Haitian and Caribbean music The festival aims to bring together the best current Haitian and Caribbean music groups. Although Zafèm, Djakout, Disip, Klass and Zenglen do not appear on the prospectus published by the FIMK, festival-goers will be able to enjoy performances by other big names in Konpa. Among them, NuLook, Vayb, T-Vice and KAI will be present, accompanied by artists such as Darline Desca, Shassy, Dieudonné Larose, as well as DJs and rappers.
A festive weekend and much more Alongside the two days of the festival, Friday July 18 will be dedicated to the launch of the festivities, and on Saturday July 19, the groups Vayb and Validé will offer a memorable evening ball. In addition to an enticing musical lineup, the festival will also offer activities for everyone, creating an immersive and entertaining experience for visitors of all ages.
