The director general of the National Education Fund denounces a campaign aimed at discrediting him and other competent executives of the FNE. Jean Ronald Joseph firmly rejects the unfounded accusations of corruption attributed to him. Mr. Joseph asks the Court of Auditors to carry out an audit of his management within the National Education Fund.
Port-au-Prince, April 16, 2024 – The director general of the FNE finally breaks his silence following accusations of corruption against the institution.
During a press briefing this Tuesday, Jean Ronald Joseph denounced a campaign of denigration and political machinations directed against him. He stressed that these attacks also targeted competent executives of the National Education Fund.
Mr. Joseph has categorically denied the false allegations made against him and his colleagues. The number one of the FNE informed that defamation actions have been initiated in the courts against his detractors.
“These attacks cannot hinder the functioning of the FNE. We will continue to work in compliance with the laws and standards in force,” assured Mr. Joseph.
