Since his installation as head of government on June 12, Prime Minister Garry Conille has been on all fronts. Visits, meetings and trips abroad punctuate his first weeks, but concrete actions are still awaited to meet the needs of the population.
At the same time, the members of the Presidential Council are keeping a low profile, appearing only in a few press releases. The Presidential Council, however, is not inactive. A member of the Council told the newspaper Le Nouvelliste that they are working on setting up the National Security Council and the Board of Directors of the National Credit Bank.
They are also dealing with the formation of the Provisional Electoral Council and the appointment of the general directors. Despite the lack of communication on the arrival of the first contingent of the Multinational Mission, the Council affirms that cohesion and harmony with all the bodies are priorities.
