After the discussions and political negotiations between the Presidential Transitional Council and Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, the separation of the cake was finally carried out. James Monazard who is reappointed to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI); Moïse Jean Pierre Fils who keeps his position at the Ministry of the Environment and Augustin Antoine who continues to head the Ministry of National Education and Professional Training (MENFP).
In addition, new faces are entering the government team.
Paul Antoine Bien-aime takes charge of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT); Alfred Metellus is appointed Minister of Economy and Finance; Patrick Pelissier is appointed Minister of Justice and Public Security (MJSP); Jean Harvel Jean Baptiste is appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs (MAEC); Dr Lorté Blema is appointed Minister of Public Health and Population (MSPP); Erick Dessources takes the reins of the Ministry of Tourism; Jean Michel Moïse is appointed Minister of Defense; Pedrica St-Jean becomes Minister of the Status of Women and Women’s Rights; Katia Verdier is appointed Minister of Haitians Living Abroad and Patrick Delatour takes the helm of the Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC).
Thus, the separation of the cake took place in a very particular environment where the bandits are gaining more and more territories. Where thousands of people are thrown into the streets. Where the population has lost all confidence in the “leaders”.
