The Ministry of Culture, concerned by the disappearance of the artist Mechans-T, invites everyone to collaborate.
The Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC) expressed its deep concern on Thursday, July 18, over reports that Haitian artist MECHANS-T, real name Wens Jonathan Désir, has been missing since July 4.
The artist’s family and management team have launched an appeal for help, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. So far, the circumstances surrounding MECHANS-T’s disappearance remain extremely unclear, the statement recalled.
The Minister of Culture and Communication, Mr. Augustin Antoine, is in regular contact with his colleague from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Dominique Dupuy, to monitor developments in this worrying matter.
The MCC also expressed its solidarity with the relatives of Wens Jonathan Désir (MECHANS-T), his fans, his friends and the entire musical community. The Ministry urges everyone to collaborate, in accordance with established principles, in order to shed full light on this case.
Talented artist, Wens Jonathan Désir (MECHANS-T) is duly registered with the Registration Service of the Directorate for Artistic and Literary Creation of Ministry of culture and communication (MCC).
