The Minister of Defense, Jean Marc Berthier Antoine, visited the front line of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAD’H) at the Bicentennial this Thursday. This visit, announced on the X account of the Ministry of Defense, is part of the fight against insecurity and the restoration of state authority throughout the national territory, particularly in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince.
Accompanied by FAD’H soldiers, Minister Antoine inspected the ongoing operations at the Bicentenary. This visit aims to enable the ministry to better understand the main challenges facing the armed forces. Following this inspection, the FAD’H high staff issued a notice of recruitment of new soldiers, under the instructions of the ministry.
This initiative aims to strengthen the strength of the armed forces and increase their operational capacity in the face of rising insecurity, thus demonstrating the transitional government’s commitment to restoring security and state authority.
