The PNH announces a seizure of firearms, ammunition and other materials in Bel-Air
The National Police of Haiti (PNH) informs that it carried out an intervention through several specialized units and entities of the police institution, this Thursday, February 8, 2024, at ruelle Félix, located in Bel-Air, having led to the seizure of firearms, ammunition, and other materials were seized by the Police.
This intervention, according to a PNH note, was carried out by the DDO-1, the SDPA/Ouest-1 patrol, PAP-9, armored vehicles: BLVV, BOID, and BRI, and which resulted in the recovery of a Toyota Prado vehicle, gray color, registered: OF-00038, with the following objects: cream-colored shirt (PNH uniform), a 45 caliber pistol, series: 194636 with a magazine containing 04 cartridges.
For ammunition, the PNH indicates having seized 608 762/39 cartridges, 222 762/51 cartridges, 753 5.56 cartridges, five tear gas bombs, a ballistic vest, an RTCV15 brand radio communication charger, a bag containing a substance comparable to marijuana, various types of clothing, including 17 blue jerseys, a jack, and two cell phones, one Motorola brand, the other Samsung Galaxy brand.
These objects were handed over to the Departmental Judicial Police Service (SDPJ-West-1), for the necessary follow-up, the note continues.
