The Democratic Resistance (RED) political platform reminds the Government that its mission is to restore security and organize general elections in the country.
The Democratic Resistance (RED) political platform, through a press release signed by Rénald Luberice and Claude Joseph, said it took note of the steps taken in the establishment of the transitional power, whose mandate must end on February 7, 2026 with the installation of a President of the Republic elected by universal suffrage.
In this sense, the RED Platform recalls that the mission of this interim power is the reestablishment of security throughout the territory, the organization of constitutional referendum and general elections, while specifying that in a spirit of surpassing oneself, he and his partners have proposed an inclusive formula where all sectors, including those which have contributed to the breakdown of the democratic order, are represented in the Presidential Council in order to guarantee the success of the process.
The Democratic Resistance wishes to invite members of the Government to refrain from any political spectacle, particularly with regard to serious matters of the Nation requiring calm, serenity and experience.
