The Ministry of Tourism unveils its roadmap to revive the sector.
On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Minister of Tourism, James Monazard, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, John Herrick Dessources, and the Director General of the Ministry, Sinedie Saintil Dupuy, chaired the second Board of Directors at the Ministry’s conference room. This strategic meeting provided an opportunity to present to the Ministry’s directors and executives the Action Plan to be implemented in the coming months.
Minister Monazard stressed the importance of the role of the Ministry’s departments and units in the implementation of this plan, emphasizing the leadership of the Director General to ensure its success. The Action Plan, which stems from the roadmap assigned by the government, is structured around five main axes to revitalize and develop the tourism economy.
The five lines of action are as follows:
1- Planning the revitalization and development of the tourist economy.
2- Improving the attractiveness of tourist destinations.
3- Improving the quality of private services.
4- Strengthening synergy in the tourism sector.
5- Improvement of the offer of services publics in the tourism sector.
