This Tuesday, April 30, 2024, all arrangements have been made for the holding of elections aimed at electing the president of the Transitional Presidential Council. At the time of writing this article (10:59 a.m.), members of the Council are present.
However, the electoral process has not yet started, and the reason for this delay is not yet known, although the scheduled time was 10 a.m. sharp.
It should be noted that four councilors are running for the position of president of the Council. They are Louis Gérald Gilles from the December 21 Accord, Edgard Leblanc Fils from the January 30 Collective, Fritz Alphonse Jean from the Montana Accord and Leslie Voltaire from the Fanmi Lavalas party.
