Traveling for the first round of the semi-finals in this umpteenth edition of the Champions League, Real Madrid snatched a draw on German soil at the very end of the match to stay alive in this series.

A very timid start to the match for the Madrid side. On the other hand, the Bavarians showed themselves to be very dangerous during the first quarter of an hour of the match with Harry Kane, Musiala and even Leroy Sané. They shook the White House defense.

La casa blanca, barely back in their match, scored first thanks to Vinicius junior who adjusted Manuel Neueur with the flat of his foot on a bright pass from Toni Kroos. Bayern Munich remained dominant for most of the first half. But it was Real Madrid who were ahead before the break.

Back in the second half, the Merengues cracked for a good part of the match and were caught by Leroy Sané in the 53rd minute, four minutes later Harry Kane scored a second goal to give Munich the advantage from the penalty spot following a foul by Lucas Vasquez on Musiala very good in the Bavarian offensive phases.

A response was eagerly awaited from Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who were heading towards their first defeat in C1. But that was without counting on Vinicius who slammed a double and this time from the penalty spot and responded to Harry Kane to set the record straight. A fourth match without a victory for the Galacticos in this UEFA competition. Draw in the return match against Leipzig, draw against City back and forth, then Bayern Munich but avoided the worst by achieving this draw at the end of the match and remains unbeatable so far in this competition.

The return match will play at the Santiago Bernabéu this Wednesday, May 7, the Merengues will have to beat the Bavarians if they want to reach the final in this C1.
