UEFA Women’s Champions League: Olympique Lyonnais wins away, Melchie Dumornay decisive!

In the first legs of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Olympique Lyonnais overthrew Benfica de Lisbon on their home field 2-1, with an assist from Melchie Daëlle Dumornay on the equalizing goal of Delphine Cascarino.

This Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Les Fenottes beat Benfica Lisbon at the Stade do Sport Lisboa e Benfica with goals from Delphine Cascarino in the 63rd minute and Sarah Daebritz in the 79th minute. However, the half-time turned against Wendie Renard’s teammates. (1-0) for the Portuguese club after a goal from Andreia Faria in the 43rd minute of play.

Melchie Daëlle Dumornay, who started on the substitutes’ bench, entered the match in the 55th minute in place of Amel Majri and the score was still in favor of Benfica.
