THE HAITI FACTOR, 1, 2024._The City Center of Port-au-Prince is, once again, this Friday March 1, 2024, the scene of a concert of cartridges, coming from armed civilians.
This panic situation, which broke out around 12:30 p.m., caused fear among people frequenting the air of Champs-Mars.
To avoid being victims of stray bullets, some lie face down on the ground, while others throw themselves in all directions without a fixed destination.
To prevent armed civilians from advancing, police officers in PNH armored vehicles patrol the area and exchange fire with armed civilians.
It is currently unknown whether there are any people suffering from stray bullets.
It is not recommended for anyone to visit downtown Port-au-Prince!
