The U.S. Embassy in Haiti announced the launch of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in the city of Cap-Haïtien on Monday. The initiative aims to “strengthen women entrepreneurs.”
In an announcement made on its various social networks, the American government, via its embassy in Port-au-Prince, announced that it had set up a program in the country’s second city to help women entrepreneurs “prosper.”
“This program is designed to help you thrive,” the embassy said in its statement calling on women entrepreneurs to apply.
“Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to grow your business and make a positive difference in our community,” the embassy encourages, inviting any entrepreneur with an established business or a promising idea to apply for this program.
Through this program, entrepreneurs will have networking sessions with leaders, which will benefit their business.
Also, business management training workshops and mentoring opportunities are planned to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
