US President Joe Biden would lose to his rival Donald Trump according to a New York Times poll
Less than four days before Super Tuesday, this poll revealed by the New York Times has the effect of a bomb in the Democratic camp. It is true that since the start of the campaign, President Joe Biden has stood out for his inaccuracies and his repeated memory loss.
If voters were to decide today to elect their president, 43% would vote for Mr. Biden, compared to 48% for Mr. Trumpaccording to this national poll by the New York Times and Siena College University.
The 81-year-old Democratic president has insisted, with supporting figures, that the economy is doing well, “only one in four voters think the country is moving in the right direction”with “a majority of voters (who) think the economy is doing badly”according to the newspaper.
This survey also reveals “a series of alarming signals for the president taking into account the weaknesses in the Democratic camp, particularly among women, black and Latino voters”as well as some of the workers, wrote the New York Times.
